Please join me in congratulating Kelly DuVal on her selection as the
Coastal Nissan Athlete of the Month for February 2010.
Kelly is the second female at Hanover High School to score her
1000th point in basketball, and is one of only seven in school history.
She is a 3 time Patriot League All-Star, Boston Globe, Patriot Ledger,
Boston Herald and Brockton Enterprise All Scholastic winner for basketball
for the last three years.
Kelly also contributes as Varsity Captain and has been part of a back-to-back Patriot League Fisher Division League Champion team (2008-09; 2009-10).
Coastal Nissan will donate $500 to the Hanover Athletic Fund in Kelly’s name.
The Athlete of the Month is selected from nominations submitted by the Athletic Directors from the following local high schools: Abington, Braintree, Cohasset, Hanover, Hingham, Marshfield, Norwell, Rockland, Scituate, and Weymouth. |
